Whether you are just beginning to explore the Taubman Approach, or you have had any amount of experience with it, the Golandsky Institute Berkeley Seminar offers an exciting array of opportunities for you to expand your knowledge and skills. This seminar will include master classes, diagnostic technique clinics for participants and for participant teachers together with their students, lecture/demonstrations on Taubman principles and related subjects.

On Saturday evening, November 15, the faculty will perform in a concert open to the public. Tickets to this concerts are $20.00. A registrant's tuition includes one ticket to this concert.

9-10:15 —Tone Production using the Basic Principles of the Taubman Approach with Marc Steiner

10:30-11:30 —The Art of Pedaling with John Bloomfield (more thorough presentation than Princeton. Princeton participants might like to try out examples and bring questions)

11:30-12  —Technique Clinic with Robert Durso.

1:30-2:30 Ornamentation and Performance Considerations for the Italian Concerto by Bach with Elizabeth Swarthout

2:30-4 —Master Class with John Bloomfield and Robert Durso.  Performances limited to less than 10 minutes.

2:30-4 —Master Class for Younger Students and/or adults with Marc Steiner

  • Payment for full weekend: $220.00 (suggested donation)
  • Advance payment on or before November 1 for both Sat and Sun is $175.00 (suggested donation)
  • Payment for either Saturday or Sunday: $135.00 (suggested donation)
  • Advance payment on or before November 1 for one or the other day is $110.00 (suggested donation)
